Drinking in Ireland?

There are children everywhere in Ireland. Pubs are comptletly fine about them, probably in the evening too. And tehy are all non-smoking nwo too. I went to west cork last year and they varied a lot if they offered childrens meals. And those that did weren't that great even if the adult food was. We went to a few restaurants in the evening with our toddler and there were often big groups of Irish holiday makers and all their children had their own separate table.

A new law was brought in last year that kids can't be in the pub after 9pm. have to say it spoiled our hols in kerry as the pub was the only place to eat out where we were.I had envisaged sittting listening to live music with the dd in the pub til about 10.30, but every night we were asked to leave.
