Dh(lovely man) has booked a few days in Paris at Easter( yay it's next week!!) Could anyone recommend a restaurant in Paris for us.We both love food and will be staying in 3/4 arrondissement. Somewhere within waking distance would be nice. we will be arriving around 18.00 so don't have time to browse resaurant menus on the first evening- it would be great to just go straight to eat. merci!

Thanks Beetroot- will see if they have a website or try Parisinfo.

try the michelin guide - not sure how much of the book is online but they have everything from really basic to top restaurants. If the online search is limited you might get the red book from the library or it's about 15 or 20 quid I think.

I like Thoumieux but it is in the 7th - i use to eat there often.

Bofinger (Brasserie) is nice : Bofinger
3, rue de la Bastille

or Le Petit Bofinger
6, rue de la Bastille

I have to suggest that YOU BOOK!!!! French restaurants are often fully booked ! Your hotel could do that (doesn't matter if you don't turn up but at least you have a table secure somewhere).

thanks pupuce.Thoumieux looks very good. Can you see the Eiffel tower from the restaurant? menu looks mouthwatering. We might consider Bofinger another night, and it is quite close to our hotel.
