They both look fabulous but not very child orientated.

Our 2 DCs would want a decent pool to play in, wouldn't have to be organised stuff, but those pools look too relaxing for waterbombs! grin

How old are the DCs?

ruksak Fri 22-Aug-08 10:15:47

they are 13 and 10

so can behave perfectly for restaurants etc.
they just need a bit of pool action, although not high-activity.

they don't need entertaining. they just need a biggish pool where other users will tolerate their games.

Quite tricky - the small thing. Have a look on the conde nast traveller web site for inspiration.

A lot of the hotels in Mauritius are great for kids. What are you thinking of spending?

no more than 5K

it is for the week after easter though so we will need to travel out on Easter Sunday at the latest.

Jordan? Egypt? I think the caribbean is ruled out.

Don't scoff but have you considered Las Vegas!? I have been twice in April, weather lovely and there are some AMAZING hotels which you can relax at by the pool during the da, you could probably for your price bracket get two adjoining rooms so the kids could have one and you and your DH have another. In the nighttime, it is fabulous, very kitsch and the kids would love it. Plus the dollar is so weak so it would be really cheap when you were there.
