Egypt Cairo tours of pyramids etc

Hoping to spend a few days in Cairo around Christmas time with DH, DS14 and DD11.

We would probably be there for 3 or 4 days max and would want to spend at least 2 days seeing the sights - but we will need a guide. How do we find a good reputable guide or tour company? And what should we try to see and do?

Would be really grateful if anyone has any recommendations, please!

(Any recommendations for hotels with family rooms would also be very helpful!)

We were there a few years ago, and had a tailor-made package from
orbitaltravel.co.uk. Cairo, Nile cruise, & Luxor. Everything went very smoothly.

I'd highly recommend them. In Cairo we had a guide + driver for 2 days - just the 2 of us!
