(8 Posts)Any experienced family travellers got suggestions for a holiday in France this August for 2 adults one toddler? Thinking of car and would like a pool and some bits to do. We are so used to easy multi-stop travelling pre-baby that we are now a bit stumped!
you could look for an airbnb in Antibes. It has a beach, you could look for a house with a pool and its a lovely town to look round x
I would look at one of the siblu's as self catering much easier with toddler but these offer a good base. One of the ones we've liked most with toddler is la reserve - on a lovely toddler safe lake but also good things to drive to inc big beaches but also Boudreaux.

Alfresco Holidays. Used them loads of times in various locations. Brilliant holidays.

We've done Eurocamp twice with toddlers - great for all the activities and the cabins were fine, though really uncomfy beds. 7-10 days was enough, 14 too much.
Their website has a list of toddler-friendly parks as a starting point. I would go back to both Benodet (which you can get to from London City to Quimper very easily) and near-ish Perpignan.
Not very imaginative but the older one still talks about how much she loved them.
Pierre vacances have lots of sites with a variety of accommodation and styles. If you prefer a British tour operator, we have used Charisma and Siblu. Otherwise we have used Booking.com for independent travel - ibis styles are economical for a family, holiday inn also has worked well for us. Brittany or the Vendee are good for the west coast, and weather is quite good, further south being better. Normandy is a short drive and has loads of history on top - Omaha beach is an amazing beach too.
Thank you for the advice! Will get researching on these.
