Start using Mumsnet PremiumRainy day options around Camber Sands?
(5 Posts)Hi ,
We're staying in Camber Sands for the next few days and it looks like it will rain on Tuesday! Please can I have any recommendations for a rainy day out? Is Bodiam Castle ok for a rainy day? Not Kino cinema as my kids are still too young for the films. Many thanks in advance!
Bump!
There’s an aquarium in Hastings.
Tenterden Leisure Centre has a giant flume slide, wave machine, giant inflatables, floats, toys and a themed pirate beach are with jets, sprays, rapids and ship wrecked pirate ship!
The Kent and E Sussex steam railway also goes from Tenterden. There’s also a large Lego exhibition at the town station. www.kesr.org.uk/events/civilisations
Thank you so much Ricekrispie! We might check out the aquarium.
Bodiam Castle isn’t really rainy day fun, it’s all outside.
I second Tenterden swimming pool. Rare breeds centre is fun and there’s a massive soft play and trampoline park in ashford. RHDR is fun and you can just go up and down the line so not too weather dependant.
