Start using Mumsnet PremiumLondon this Saturday (potentially wet day) with 4 & 6 yo boys
(3 Posts)We're visiting the city on Saturday for a day trip. The weather looks indecisive currently. We were hoping to go to the Diana memorial park and maybe see some sights with the kids but if it's rainy what advice can you give for Indoor places please? Also of places to Pre book if necessary. My oldest son is autistic so we're going to take the day as it comes... Do children travel free on the underground??
Also any dry weather suggestions if you have any too please

Mudlarks at the Museum of London Docklands (free)
The London Transport Museum has a fantastic play zone for children under 7, a
stamp trail around the museum galleries, and there’s a new interactive gallery called Future Engineers which is especially for children. Children get in to the museum free but it’s a bit pricey for adults.
Children under 11 travel free.
Hi the science museum is quite good for kids the natural history museum has a dinosaur part in it those museums are next to each other, Madame Tussaud's is ok and yes kids travel free
