Start using Mumsnet PremiumCurrency in Botswana
(3 Posts)We'll be in Botswana for a few days as part of a tour. Don't really want to take pula, we might not even spend any money at all. Does anyone know if S.A. rand can be used, or even £ or euros? Thank you.
Pretty sure we used USD. But could have been Rand.
Will you have a card that could be used in an ATM? Or you going very remote?
@WinterHeatWave Thanks. We'll be staying in a safari lodge, so it looks like we'll just use credit cards to pay for any extras. We'll leave tips in whatever currency we have - hotel & bar staff usually have ways of converting!
