Hi,

So i sent off for DD2 first passport last week, I used the online application then I sent off the paperwork, photos ect. I was just wondering if any one had recently sent of a passport app and how long it took for them to receive it?

I fly on the 26th, I know I sent it late, it's my own fault if it doesn't arrive in time!

I sent DDs on 22nd Aug and it was back on 1st Sept, so 10 days. Also did it online and then posted the forms.

Ours were really quick once I'd sent the photos in, less than 10 days.

I'm still waiting on my son's and sent it at the end of July.

You can phone up and ask, they are very helpful. We sent our off the first week of the holidays and got them back 3 weeks ago so 3 weeks in total.

Thanks guys, I've just been tracking it and it says they've received the documents but no action. I might give them a call.

I sent DS (aged 10, renewal) off on the 7th September, it was an online application. We got it back 6 days later, awesome!

5 years ago when we renewed it was when the passport office was a bit broken and I ended up contacting my local MP for help as we thought we were going to miss the holiday (the only time I've ever even thought about contacting an MP!). We got it the day before we went, was really cutting it close...
