(4 Posts)Hi,
We're going to Conwy for a few days. We'll probably spend a good bit of time at the beach. Any suggestions for days out with a 3yr old and a baby? Would the castle be good for the 3yr old or are there "formal" guided tours where child/baby noise would not be appreciated?
Greenwood forest park looks like a good day out.
Zip world have the fforest coaster suitable for age 3 and up. Is it worth going to for that one ride does anyone know? Or is there anything else to do near by?
Finally, are there any swimming pools with slides around? A quick Google directs to the council website but there's several pools and no info on any so not even sure if you can pay as you go etc or if its members only.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Zipworld Fforest has Treetop Nets which 3 year olds can do with a participating adult. It's really close to Conwy Valley Railway Museum which is brilliant with little kids! Lots of model railways with buttons to press, a ride on miniature railway and a self-drive tram for children.
Colwyn Leisure centre has a slide and several water features. Here's the timetable showing the public swimming times www.conwy.gov.uk/en/Resident/Leisure-sport-and-health/Swimming-and-Activities/Swimming-Pool-Timetables/Colwyn-Swimming-Pool.aspx
Conwy Castle is great with kids. There's a kids trail (might be a tad too old for a 3yo), interactive displays and no snooty tours!
Great Orme aerial cable car is fun and I also recommend the Welsh Mountain Zoo.
This is a nice little place to spend an hour or two. www.conwywatergardens.co.uk
Greenwood Forest Park
Thanks! I'll check those out!
