(12 Posts)We've booked cheap flights to Barcelona and now looking to book accommodation. Can anyone recommend a hotel? Thanks
Hotel Espana is great
Are you taking kids? If so, how old?
Hotel K Picasso
Thanks everyone! It's a kid free weekend
Hotel sixty two
Oo- I nearly booked k Picasso last year. Booked Constanta instead- lovely. Great location and smart and modern. Enjoy!
We stayed at retrome Barcelona- you pay extra for breakfast or you can buy something lovelyfrom the bakery (there's a coffee maker and small kitchen in the room). Very cool and funky decor and good location not far from the action
Barcelo raval was good - really reasonable, really cool hotel and only 5 mins walk into the city. Massive bed, really modern and clean.
The raval area is a little bit sketchy which makes this hotel so cheap - but there are large streets leading to las ramblas so it’s not bad and it’s only 5 mins.
*it had a small rooftop plunge pool and bar I forgot to mention.
Villa Emilia
Nice and one minute from a metro stop, five minutes from the main station. Roof terrace too.
We stayed (child-free) at the Catalonia Portal de L'Angel. It was magical - we were in the rooftop suite looking down on the town at Christmas time. Easy to get to, caught the bus from the airport, got off at Catalonia Square and walked less than 5 minutes to the hotel.
