Start using Mumsnet PremiumRecovery vehicles with isofix fittings?
(1 Post)Anyone know if any roadside recovery vehicles actually have isofix fittings? I had to be recovered yesterday but the lorry couldn't take my isofix only carseat and so they had to arrange a taxi to take me, my little one (17months) and the dog home separately. The car with all my stuff for a weekend away then travelled separately to my garage. Disturbingly the lorry driver would have been happy to let me travel with him without proper infant restraint but thankfully the actual rescue company immediately offered a taxi, but it all added into what ended up as a 5 hour wait on the roadside in persistent heavy rain (and apparently that was with priority for an infant - it was a bad day for lots of people)
