Start using Mumsnet PremiumTips for taking a 3 month old abroad??
(4 Posts)Hi 😊
Our son is 5 weeks old and we are planning on taking him to Crete in august, he will be 12 weeks. Very excited to take him on his first holiday!
Any tips? What to take, what not to take?
I'm breastfeeding but also expressing and bottle feeding. I'm hoping by the time we go I'll only be breastfeeding.
Also what about taking a car seat for aiport transfers/taxis?
Any tips will be much appreciated! Thanks x
Yes to car seat make sure taxi has seat belts in the back
Keeping him cool, in the shade and hydrated will be key it's gets extremely hot in crete in August.
Long periods in the aircon!
You can take your own car seat as part of the child's allowance.
A sling is handy for the airport, especially going through security.
Take 2-3 sun hats. You will lose one.
