Start using Mumsnet PremiumRecommendations for afternoon tea in Edinburgh
(9 Posts)I'm going to Edinburgh in September with my dd, my mum and my aunty. I'd like to book somewhere nice but not to expensive for us to have afternoon tea while we are there. Any recommendations welcome.
The Signet Library is lovely. http://www.thesignetlibrary.co.uk/colonnades/
I also had a lovely afternoon tea at the G&V hotel on North Bridge.
Mimi's Bakehouse is lovely. I think there are 3 branches: down on the shore, Corstorphine and a little one on the Royal Mile. The one on the shore is my favourite
Mimi's in leith
I'll have a look at those, thanks
Bon in Corstorphine or the Chocolate Station in Corstorphine are both good. In town, Tigerlily is nice.
Mimi's Bakehouse looks perfect, thanks
It's lovely - enjoy!
The rose leaf pub in Leith has a mad hatters tea party theme. You can opt for cocktails instead of tea in your teapot
It's an odd mix of old mans pub and ladies tea room.
Here's the mad hatter info
