(6 Posts)DD was born in December 2000 so is 16. We renewed her expiring passport in January 2016 (so just after she turned 15) and the expiry date is August 2021.
I've got this little niggle at the back of my head saying that I need to renew it again as she's turned 16; do I need to? Or does the 2021 expiry date stand?
Thanks to anyone who can help.
You don't need to renew it as long as she looks like her photo.
No it is fine until it expires.
She is fine until it expires
The gov website confirms they can use it until it expires https://www.gov.uk/get-a-child-passport/who-can-apply
Thanks everyone ☺
