Uncomfy mattress in hotels and self-catering - travel mattress?

My back often hurts with sleeping on hard and uncomfortable beds in hotels or self-catering accommodation.

Would a travel mattress or travel topper help? Anyone got any recommendations?

Hope I dont sound too 'princess and the pea' but it can really affect my enjoyment of a holiday!

I'm planning on taking a 10cm self inflating mat for my bed when we go to eurocamp.

I have similar issues.

Consider this: www.amazon.co.uk/Prima-Comfort-Travel-Memory-Mattress/dp/B00A2O1P58/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1488300593&sr=8-2&keywords=memory+foam+travel+mattress+topper&tag=mumsnetforum-21
