Do apartments exist in all inclusive? I have three DCs and 2 x studios no go

I'm trying to find a late deal. Even considering Greece ;-) Second week Aug.

Have three DCs - 7, 7 & 9. The 9YO has ADHD and not to be trusted in separate hotel room with DCs 2 & 3. Last year we had interconnecting hotel rooms and we had to divide and rule and I slept with 2 DCs and DP with the other one. It was a nightmare. We can't all fit in one room and if we do its not fun.

I'm searching on Thompson and the big hol companies, but they all come up as either 2 twin rooms or 2 studios. This won't work fro us.

Is there such a thing as an all inclusive apartment or suite? Wheer can I find this?

we could budget 5k for us all but we'd like to go for 2 weeks as we've never done a proper package before.

Yes we did with first choice holiday villages.

try looking at Canaries. we've stayed in several places with 2 bedroom apartments and AI.

Names to look for? Not coming up with much

sorry I'm on phone or I would link. try Oliva Beach in Fuerteventura or HL club Playa Blanca Lanzarote. I have stayed AI in both of these with two bedroom apartments.

I've stayed in 2 bedroom apartments on an AI package with Jet2 (Ibiza).

Was just about to suggest Oliva Beach in Fuerteventura! Also Flamingo Beach in Lanzarote and Hotel Punta Prima in Menorca.

Try travel republic... i have been looking at a full board 2 bed apt for fortnight in aug with Gatwick easyjet flights for 5 to a well reviewed hotel in Alcudia Mallorca for £3600

When searching for holidays try putting in 1 room self catering. This will often throw up hotels with apartments that offer AI as well as s/c or B&B

We are going to the First choice holiday village in Cyprus in August (just switched from the HV in Tunisia) and they have large apartments for 5 with 2 bedrooms and a small kitchen too). Might be worth a look.

GirlWhoWearsGlasses Thu 09-Jul-15 12:36:41

Thanks I will have a look that should start me off.

Also another stupid question: I'm used to self catering and having a washing machine. With three boys I find there's a lot of washing. What happens in AI for two weeks? (Am happy if you tell me they'll be wearing swim trunks for two weeks, but really really?). When we've stayed in caravans I've ended up doing launderettes.

We went to Costa teguise with Thompson with all inc and an apartment. Was fine. Yoy might be sleeping on the double sofa bed tho.

Coma Gran in Sa Coma, Majorca.

diploddycus Thu 09-Jul-15 12:41:15

A lot of complexes will have washers you can pay to use. Not all will have them in the room.

SecretSquirrels Thu 09-Jul-15 13:00:07

I have 2 boys much ilder now, but I get the washing thing. You are going on august so trunks and sun tops are all you need for day time. they can be rinsed and dried over night.
For evenings avoid white tee shirts and you might get 2 wears. Shorts and Tees are also easy to wash. Most hotels will supply pool towels which is one less thing to pack/wash.

GirlWhoWearsGlasses Thu 09-Jul-15 13:26:54

I'm not willing to pay 6k to sleep on a sofa though. Lots of great suggestions though thanks, any more welcome as availability not great

SecretSquirrels Thu 09-Jul-15 18:02:23

More expensive than the ones I mentioned before but very good is the Olympic Lagoon in Cyprus. You can get 2 bed apartment with private little pool in enclosed garden and AI. We would all love to go back there.

I can recommend a 2 bed apartment all inclusive (great food) at the Hotel Filoxenia in Tsilivi, Zante

Less recommended because it was a bit scruffy but perfectly serviceable was Hi Montemar apartments at Cala Llong, Ibiza also 2 spacious bedrooms and a sofa bed

AnyFucker Thu 09-Jul-15 18:15:19

the latter is cheap and cheerful

GirlWhoWearsGlasses Thu 09-Jul-15 18:36:59

Oh interesting. I'm a bit 'all or nothing' - really cheap and cheerful or poncey. I'd go camping for £250 rather than spendy and have a sofa bed. If spendy then it has to be guaranteed great grin - I think that is why I'm finding this difficult (and why we've neve flown with the kids). I'm looking at 'Le Dune Resort' in Sardinia which looks lovely - bit more spaced out, right on the beach, but also £££ - anyone been or know similar?

Turkey: try Pegasos World Hotel in Side, and Liberty Hotel Lykia just outside Olu Deniz. Both have 2-bed apartments and all-inclusive. Both 4 or 5 star.

Tiredemma Thu 09-Jul-15 18:56:35

Alcudia Pins in Alcudia has 2 bed apts

iwantgin Fri 10-Jul-15 09:08:58

hire a house or villa privately and book your own flights?

At least that way you have control over the bedroom situation, and will have more space for all of you.

GirlWhoWearsGlasses Fri 10-Jul-15 11:00:15

I would do that but people keep telling me the holy grail of stress free holiday is AI. Not sure....

NoBloodyMore Fri 10-Jul-15 11:03:43

Try Balansat Apartments in Peurto San Miguel in Ibiza, all inclusive but a good sized apartment, beautiful little resort on the north of ibiza with kids club, entertainment etc and Ibiza is a beautiful island we've been twice with our 3 (12,6 and 3) and it was great
