Budget/reasonably priced hotel in Paris not too far from CDG

Hi, can anyone recommend a hotel that is within a reasonable taxi driving distance from CDG? The ones that are really close are way over what we want to pay for just one night before we fly home. As a family of 5 it is proving nigh on impossible to find a room that will accommodate all of us (DC's not old enough for their own room) for much less than a few hundred quid (and our money is not as valuable as the Pound or Euro so even more more expensive for us) Any recommendations would be much appreciated! Thanks smile

To give you an idea, we live 20km away from CDG (but not in Paris proper), and a taxi from here to there costs 40 euros and takes 25m. That's outside peak times - if it's before 10.30am or between 5pm and 7.30pm on a weekday it could be longer.

Try looking on google maps at CDG airport, and note down the names of towns within a 10-20km radius, depending on main road connections and how close you want to be. Then search for hotels in those towns and see what you come up with.

For starters, try Villepinte, Aulnay-sous-bois and Gonesse.

Thanks - I've checked Ibis but they only do up to triple occupancy rooms - don't want to have to split up if possible. Thanks riverboat and numberlock I will check that out...

Depending on when you're staying though the Formule 1 is only €32 a room so two rooms would be affordable.
