without cut and pasting every line?I have a word doc with a list of names and email addresses and would like to have a spreadsheet so that I can add addresses, telephone numbers etc, and so that I can alphabetisise the list. Can this be done?
Yes, you should be able to, copy and paste, then go to 'text to columns' and choose what it is that gives the new cell. What version of exel are you on?
ib means delimiter, probably space will do although it may also separate the names, but you'll be able to sort that out
you can send it to me if you like and ill do it (or are they confidential??)Kate Fallon 44 at hot mail dot com
