DP bought me an iphone but my laptop wont let me download itunes as there isn't enough room in cdrive can anyone help!

Im getting with it all and could quite happily throw it through the window but dp has signed up to a contract so i have to at least try!

My laptop is a dell ispiron 1501 running vista but it seems to permenantly have a full c drive, and it wont let me downlaod what i need for itunes.

You're either going to have to buy a bigger harddrive or delete some stuff I'm afraid.

I have tried deleting stuff but it won't let me I literally surf the net on it, i have deleted all pictures and music but to no avail

Have you got a D drive on there? If you have, move anything that's not a program on to there. If you haven't, then you need a bigger hard drive - or buy an external hard drive. You can get these quite cheaply now and with loads of capacity.

Have you emptied the recycle bin as well? You won't get the extra space until thats empty.

I've just bought one of these. It couldn't be easier to use and you can get rid of all the stuff that is clogging up your laptop.

not quite the same thing but I got an ipod recently and it took an age to get itunes loaded and then to get itunes to speak to the ipod. Needed to download the newest version of windows. Then lots of glitches including having to reload all my broadband software. However now it's up and running (DH is in IT thank goodness)it's really fab.

right click on your c drive, choose properties and see how much free space you actually have

All sorted now I cheated and asked my friends dh who used to work for pc world and he has sorted it out for me
