anyone know how to transfer a video from my camcorder to facebook

It's a pain. What is the make and model of the camcorder and are you on a pc or a mac? And, do you have a cable that goes from your camcorder to your pc?

yes think everything is set up....just don't know how to do it....

OK, (according to DH).....you need to play the video on the camcorder whilst it is plugged into your pc. You should have a software disc with the camcorder and if you don't have it, go onto the cam website and download the software for it.

Open up the software, look for something that say's something like 'transfer to pc' or 'upload to pc' and it should guide you through the rest. Set it to save onto your desktop or somewhere you can find it easily.

Then when it is on your pc, you can then upload it to facebook. The maximum size that facebook will accept is 1Gb - about 20 minutes of film.

Hope that helps You might encounter a problem so just ask, when we did this recently it was quite footery but I think that was because the camcorder was quite old. Got there eventually though, good luck!
