I have an iPhone - I now MN in bed on weekend mornings when my laptop is downstairs. On the iPhone you can turn the screen sideways & the web page turns landscape too.

I don't twitter, but there is a mobile version of facebook or you can switch to the full version.

You can have several pages open & switch betwen them with a tap & a flick, and you can put shortcuts to your favourite sites on the home screen.

I love it!

thanks Rusty. How easy is it to type using an i-Phone? is it like texting or keyboard layout? (keyboard is one of the things I hate about the blackberry)

It's got an on screen virtual keyboard which pops up when you need it - it takes a little getting used to, but I get on fine with it now, though DD who is a demon texter on a standard keypad isn't so keen - but that's OK by me, as she won't be borrowing it to text her mates

iphone is awesome - I get on far better with the keyboard on that than my standard Nokia keypad.

There's loads of different twitter apps, some paid for, some free. I use TwitterFon which is free and is more than good enough for my usage - but it's all down to personal preference really.

I have the G1 - it's Google based so can access my gmail, google calendar etc really easily. It has a full keyboard as well as the top flips out. Lot of free Apps that I can download through google marketplace. There's a good twitter app called Twidroid and there's a last.fm app too. I LOVE it and it's a lot cheaper than the iphone too.

(Actually, should clarify I have an ipod touch not an iphone - waiting for my current phone contract to run out - but the interface and apps are the same)

I dont really twitter, but you can get an iPhone app for it. The Facebook iPhone app is really good as well.

I have a blackberry as well - I also hate the thing!
