How do I resize pictures with Vista??

I want to attach some pics to an email but if I try the email option on the picture it asks for all sorts of information about my email account that I have no idea about! But if I attach them as they are I can only attch 3 or 4 and we are trying to send some pics of DD's birthday to her step mum and there are a lot more than 4 she wants to send!

When I had XP I downloaded the thing from MN for resizing pics to upload them but that is only for XP, is there something similar for Vista?

Please help me because I also tried to put some new pics on my profile the other day and couldn't do that either and I'm sure you're all desperate to see how cute ds2 is now!!
