TV/Monitor combos

Looks like my pc monitor is busticated, so I have to get a new one. I was thinking of new telly for that room anyway, and I wondered if I should get a TV/monitor combo. The ones I looked at say either "Freeview tuner" or "Digital tuner" or "TV tuner", and I'm not sure if they all mean the same in practice. I can't get Freeview in my area yet, but would the tuner still work for the standard stations? And what does "TV tuner" mean - is it different from "Digital tuner"?
