Preparing a digital photo frame with SD card - any tips before I mess it up?

Any pitfalls to avoid? DO you edit pics to all be landscape/portrait before you load onto memory card?

How big a memory card would you reccomend?

Any advice gratefully received - for a gift, so would be nice to make a good job of it!

Was q bargainous I thought £40 from staples for 7 inch screen. For DHs desk at work - so plan to locate and edit fab pic of me. His last secretary has just admitted to having crush on him shock
