...and at the age of 34 here I am, finally about to buy a laptop to set myself up as a freelancer. My DH owns a Mac, which I've always used, and so my familiarity with Macs plus the fact that they hardly ever get attacked by viruses has led me to decide to get a MacBook Pro. Yes, I know they're horribly expensive, but I don't know where I'd start if I picked up something nasty on a PC laptop. Being a newbie I think peace of mind is probably worth spending the extra (yikes) £1000.
So what I need help with is understanding all the techy specifications. Does anyone know of any reliable, independent magazines or websites that could help me to wade through the gobbledygook and emerge able to discuss Intel Cores, NVIDIA and processing speeds?
Thanks in advance .
