What's happened to my compooter?!

I went to use it last night after dp and ds1 had finished on it and it's all gone weird! The icons on the desktop have doubled in size and when I open an internet page it's all weird and a bit too big too! There's a scroll bar at the bottom of the screen because the pages are coming up too wide.
It's Windows Vista which I've had 2 weeks and am still finding my way around and I've tried changing text size and zoom on the page menu (top right) but it's not that. dp said he did a hewlett packard graphic automatic update and if it's that I have no idea how to undo it!
Does anyone have any idea what else I could try? Thanks!

If you right click on a blank bit of the screen, it will probably bring up a menu, where you can try different screen resolutions. It has probably reset to a small number. Try a few and look at the preview to see if it helps.

Thanks AMum, my pc is fixed! Think DS1 probably pressed the wrong button last night!
