Need a programme which will convert WORD and other files into .PDFs

works a treat - appears as a new printer.. ..you print to cutepdf, it asks you for a filename and you're away. Means you can make a pdf from anything you can print.

Get yourself a gmail account (go to wwww.gmai.com and open an account, it's like hotmail or yahoo) but also has a feature called Google Documents where you can upload documents (such as word files) and convert them to pdfs.
