Geeky stuff

ds needs some help! He's addicted to runescape (jaytex game on the web), a kid at school has worked out his password and stolen stuff. We don't know how to get it back. Can anyone help please?

Sorry, I don't have any answers for you but sympathies to ds - this happened to the son of a friend of mine and he was distraught.

It broke his heart. Nasty child. I'm tempted to tell his mother.

Thanks.

From my 'expert' aged 11, he says your son can report the other person and in the meantime my ds will give him some stuff of his to keep him going. His name is kanerey1 and he will need to know your ds's runescape name and combat level?!?!?

That's really sweet. He's taken 33K and full mythril armour. I have tried to report the littleshit darling but I'm having problems doing it as he's not logged on. He's left all of the crap in his account. I think he's taken some coloured beads aswell and rune essence. I have looked all over the site to report the little sod but I can't find out where.

Ds says:

If he has changed the password, it can be recovered via this link provided he remembers previous passwords/recovery questions.

As for the stolen items; not much you can do other than report? You could send a query to jagex via the main website.

Remember not to state his age however; 13+ is the rule, and they may suspend the account anyway.

There's a 'report abuse' button at the bottom of the screen apparently, in a red box thingy.

My ds can give him some stuff but needs his runescape name.

Thanks. Ds has changed it now but he is upset about his money etc. It took him ages to collect it all. There's no way to report the little git unless he's online and talking to ds. Unless there's another way to get it back . I can but hope. Or we could dob the other kid in for being 11. That would make me feel quite nice .

josephlego is his runescape name. I've tried the red report, the little shit darling isn't online and I can only report him if he's trading or speaking.

Your poor ds!

My ds (he's only 11, didn't know you had to be 13 - he's only just told me that!!!!), said that if your ds just adds him, Kanerey1, to his buddy list, he won't have to pass on his name but my ds will be able to help him if he wants.

He stopped playing when he went to secondary school but occassionally has a quick game now (he's Yr8)

My ds is a member and has said to tell your ds to "go get his groove on". I think this means go and have a talk in runescape lingo!!

Anyway, glad your ds is feeling better now and you are very welcome.

DS says, if your DS knows pen's email & postcode you can get HIS password reset & do the same thing.

DS has looked - he has no recovery questions set
