How can I check if my msn conversations are being recorded on my computer>?

I have a sneaking suspicion my ex has set the computer to record my conversations and checking it when I am not looking.

Anyone know if I can see if this is the case, and how?

Have you clicked on tools then options and then looked at security? I didn't know anyone could record your conversations, unless you mean message history.

Is MSN the same as Messenger? If so, in Windows Live Messenger, left click on the box showing your online status (where it says things like online, busy etc). A box comes up with 'options'. Choose options. In the options panel, choose messages.

You should now see a 'message history' section which will tell you whether or not conversations are recorded and in which directory.

Find the directory, conversations are recorded in XML files which you can read in MS Word.
