i want to join the mn group on facebook!

do i need to be invited? i dont get it. i was 'invited' to the other group i'm on there! what do i need to do?!!!

click on the bit where it says "join this group" I did that and I now appear to be a member of it

ah cool! how do we know who each other is on there? [confused nerd emoticon] or are we not supposed to? i noticed my RL friend is on there and i dont think she is a MNer at all!!!!

I think the people who want to be known have put their rl names and their mn names

what about your rl friends will they be able to see you are a member of mumsnet (I don't want them stalking me here this is my little sanctuary)

And (as I've just discovered) when you post "I am squonk" in the mn group discussion board, it comes up on your profile that you posted in the "what's your mn name" thread, so everyone can see it (or do you have to be a member of the mn group before you can see that discussion board? I don't mind if that's the case....)

I have just outed myself to everybody I know.
