Downloaded new internet explorer now loads of pages cannot be displayed - help

Luckily MN an still be displayed, but some people's picturetrail can't be displayed, feedback on ebay, youtube can't be displayed at all.
Please someone tell me how to fix this. Tried deleting histories etc to no avial.

You need to change your security settings to medium low. Plus install Active X and Java. Bloody irritating product isn't it?

But you also gotta ask yourself why IE? It is pants, try Firefox, Opera, Flock....

WMMC - I tried that and now it didn't seem to work, now it is fine though! Thank you.
NLNN - I am totally computer illiterate (sp?) and stereotypically leave that kind of stuff to DH.
