Emails with multiple recipients

I had an email yesterday from a business acquaintance. He also copied in someone who works with him. I forwarded the original email to my work colleague who needed to see it, but I added my own text relating to another matter. I only forwarded it to my colleague and didn't copy the original sender in or his work colleague.

There've been a couple of further messages back and forth on the thread (is that what they're called?)today, but it's just occurred to me that if I can see what I sent to my colleague can the others see everything that's been sent too?

It's Yahoo mail if that makes any difference.

Thanks

No. People can only see emails sent to them.

No, but you can organise your threads differently to make it easier for you if you find it confusing.

No it wouldn't, its a new email chain and would only be sent to the person(s) you send it to.

Thanks everyone. That's good to know. It was nothing that would have got me into trouble or would have offended the original sender, just did a quick forward while working on something else.

Will copy and paste onto a new email in future.

Can happily go back to juggling too many things now Grin
