Consumer Law Claim on iPhone

Two weeks ago my phone stopped getting a signal. Simply said ‘no service ‘. Two days of messages and phone calls with Apple and they deem it’s a hardware fault and because it’s out of Apple warranty I needed to make a consumer law claim through my network and contract provider - BT. I have 2 months left on my two year contract and BT agreed it could be sent off etc. DPD collected it and a week later no news. I call and they say after keeping me on hold for 50 minutes that it’s in the warehouse waiting to be looked at. Half hour later I get a call from BT to say Anovo have rejected the claim because my phone is bent! I absolutely refute that claim as it was in pristine condition when it left me and I have umpteen photos to prove this. The company it’s gone to seem to have form for this sort of thing and force people into paying hundreds for repairs.
BT have emailed them saying I dispute their claims it’s bent but other than that I apparently have no leg to stand on.
Any ideas anyone?
