Apps have iCloud logo next to them

Most of my apps don't open immediately like they used to and they have the little iCloud logo next to them. The reload before I can open them.

Why has this happened and how do I stop it?

Not sure why it has happened, usually it means you already downloaded the App and it was then deleted so has to be downloaded again.
