Remove Windows account to return laptop

I've bought a new laptop yesterday from Argos, seduced by a Black Friday offer. It's a HP laptop and I really don't like it - it's plasticky, and I'm not keen on the keyboard which has plastic, non-tactile keys. However, to start using it I had to sign in on my Windows account (Windows 10) - I have literally done nothing except this, and I would like to return it but I cannot find out how to remove my Windows account from it - it's obviously the only account and I'm set up as the administrator. Is there any way I can do this? I thought about returning it to factory settings but this might wipe off some of the custom stuff that was pre-installed on it?

Can anyone help? Thanks

Think you'd need to restore to factory settings, which should be an option through the computer itself from Control Panel.
