eBay is your friend

If you wanted to go "all out" why not send her a hogwarts letter? She can open it in her bed on Christmas morning.
Go through a magical barrier of a doorway with hanging tassels /tinsel that is the way to Platform 9 3/4?

You could also have butter beer for breakfast (some sort of smoothie or milkshake)
Have a themed day of it all.

My ds was 8 on Monday & is also HP mad. Most of the stuff I found for clothing was for girls but they had HP baubles in Primark for £4-1 for each house.

I'd say use plain brown paper & draw on e.g. The Lightning scar, HP, glasses face, deathly hollows symbol etc

Sounds like a fab present!

I can't advise on much except ebay or etsy (although you may spend more on wrapping paper than some gifts. I'd go with brown paper/string etc). Just came here to say A) your kid sounds awesome and B) she is lucky to have you - what an amazing Christmas she will have! I am in no way jealous...!

Someone sent me a link for a personalised HP sack - I will try to find it as it was less than £5!! (they actually sent me 2 so if your dd is called Camilla you can have one!!!)

Etsy have some amazing things - I may have gone mad!! Also got her Slytherin robes from Asda and will get chocolate frogs.

this cushion is really lovely in the flesh.

this made me cry!!

Sorry, I just realised the post was more about wrapping, not more gifts!!

- here is the sack - £7.99!!

Primark have HP wrapping paper in stock now - really wide selection of HP themed gifts too. A bit more expensive than usual Primark prices but certainly not extortionate either wink

You could get a large cardboard box and decorate it similar to one of the trunks they use to go to hogwarts and put all her wrapped presents inside it

Gift ideas welcome too, I thought I was done but I keep seeing more things, I have got a few of the bits from Primark for stocking, I managed to get hp pop up book too and a sorting hat candle that is white and when it melts down reveals which house you are in- she will love this, I got a couple of Tshirts so she can wear one when we go to hp tour, how would you present the tickets to her?

Well then, if you're still thinking pressies-I ordered a few patches on eBay to personalise a hoodie, Grffindor, platform 9&3/4 & a deathly hollows. Also the dumbed ore quote but I'm a gold sticker that goes on the wall next to the light switch 😄. All cheap & cheerful

8mileeminem Wed 08-Nov-17 21:54:48

Hedwig balloon ordered thankyou so much, I will get a Gryffindor patch too for a navy hoody I’ve got

I brought a wand pen and notebook from Primark.

Threenme Wed 08-Nov-17 22:26:50

I love Harry Potter too! Ideas if you're going for the themed day and stocking filler sweeties that are super easy and cheaply done! Why don't you attatch the tickets to the hedwig balloon as though they're being delivered??
