Hi
I work for a charity and we want to create our own memes to use on social media eg twitter to publicise our services
Can anyone recommend a good programme that's easy to use for us less techy types
it doesn't have to be free - people have suggested picmonkey, IMG, unsplash etc but I don't want to pay more than I need or for something that's not that good
Thanks

What is it that you want to do?

You have pictures and you want to put white block writing on them?

If it's just for social media and you don't need to images to be high quality, I would put the picture into a Powerpoint slide, edit the slide to be the right size etc, put a WordArt over the top with the text you want, and save it as a picture.

Make sure you own the rights to the pictures, don't take other people's pictures off the internet.

This is the sort of thing I'm trying to create
I don't mind paying for pic monkey or unsplash type thing for images but do I then need another programme to add the words or is there something that does both?

I am technically incompetent and use the Word Swag app. It is very easy Smile

Word Swag lets you use your own images or you can search Pixabay through the app.

I just import the image onto Publisher, arrange text etc on top, then group all items together and save it as a jpg

I would just do that in powerpoint personally - set the slide to be square, put some words on top of the photo then save as jpg.

You probably already have it and know how to work it.

Have a look at Canva on canva.com

It's free - although there are some paid things on it and you can upgrade but you can do plenty for free. They also have some good tutorials on learning to use the software (it's pretty easy though!) and how to design good stuff...

If you're out and about and using a phone to take pictures, snapseed is a great app for editing pictures and adding simple text.

Thinking about it, the app works for me as I do everything on my phone.
