I work remotely and have an IMAP email address which I've set up on my main laptop outlook.
I now have a smaller laptop for out and about and I've installed the email on that Outlook. However, the folders have gone and any email I send from the small laptop is not shown in the 'master' account on the main laptop.
This obviously won't work as I need both accounts to be synchronised.
I've done some basic googling and found and downloaded Q Synchronisation but it doesn't look like it's worked as I can't see the menu tab I'm supposed to.
Just in case anyone searches, I have managed to fix this! What I thought was set up as an IMAP account on my main laptop was in fact a POP so I was VERY vulnerable as all my filed emails (99% stored in files) were NOT backed up on the server!
Managed to add another account which WAS IMAP, then made new folders in this and copied all the emails over.
They now show up on both the 2nd laptop and also on my phone.
