Hope someone can help. The DC access the Internet through a few different devices. We've got parental controls set up but I was wondering if there was anything that would stop them accessing the Internet a set amount of time.

Ideally I'm looking for something for the holidays, for example if they interneted for 2 hours, then had a 2 hour break.

I know lots of people are going to say just tell them no but I'm out at work and DH is a little incapacitated atm do he seems to think the Internet is his nanny to help him out.

I think Screentime Labs will count time across several devices. You can set a daily limit, you can also set a bedtime.

You can set the router to block all Internet traffic at certain times.

Sounds good. Is that an app or a device?

Depends on what router you've got. Some don't even have the capability.

Depends on your router. You can basically log onto your router and set parental controls like what time the Internet goes off.

Screentime Labs is an app, the idea is that you install the parent app on your phone, then the other one on all the devices your kids use. You can set individual limits per kid, block particular apps (on Android, but not iPhone/iPad) etc. You can also give bonus time for tasks done, or just hit "play" to turn on access when you get in the car for a long journey etc.

It obviously costs, so if you don't need that level of control then go for the router!
