laptop won't connect to some links or websites

does that make sense?

if i click on a link on mn i get a blank screen with we cannot find this site

also i get the same if i google tesco etc - comes up with a google list but when i click i get the same message

'this website can't be reached.it may be temporarily down or have may have moved to a new address.'

not all websites though but most of them.bizarre.

any help would be great. :)

It might be a problem with your service providers DNS server.

When you give a web address the internet service provider translates that into an IP address to route messages to and sometimes this breaks.

You can test to see if this is the case by using the Google Public DNS service
developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/
