Internet access restrictors for an iPhone

I think I read on here somewhere about an app that you can use to set time allowed for internets on an iPhone.
Our 12 year old has my old one now and I love him texting I don't want him surfing and playing online games all evening.
If we had as a back up to generally trusting him the option of installing something I could use this as a lever for him to stick to our guidelines.

Am I mis remembering? And if not could you please share the app. Thanks.
