Just returned from visiting family in US who kindly gave us an old kindle fire and an ipod touch 5. Can I just plug the charger cable into a UK plug or do I need a transformer or special plug so that I can use devices sold in US market in UK? Assume I am an idiot and you would be right smile

The power supplies are almost certainly multi-voltage, but given that a proper UK-approved USB power supply is about five quid, just buy one.

Ta very much.
DD very thrilled with ipod touch. We are an Android house so I will probably be bothering this thread again with Apple questions blush
