My ex, I think, is taking advantage of my ignorance here. I have asked if my daughter and I can Skype while he has her and he has said no. He has come up with various excuses but the latest is that I would be able to access her emails or messages and her account?? Would I? Surely not? What is he talking about? Or is he just being his usual dickish self trying to erase me from her life like the lying insecure jealous abusive wanker he is?? Also can you record Skype sessions? I'm sure you must be able to as there are hundreds of Skype conversation videos on YouTube but is that a Skype feature or done with a separate programme?
TIA lovelies! Smile

IMHO this is rubbish!

in my experience - you set up Skype account with an email, password obviously can be different.

I never used recording on Skype, it may be available on a paid account (I am in UK).

Hi,
It's bollocks.
You can't het access her e-mail through Skype, only the messages you type to each other.
Can't help you with the recording bit, I use Skype daily but I've never come across that option, maybe the premium service does it, no idea.

sorry, should have checked it before sending.
SO you can't get access to her e-mail account via using it.

Thought so. I don't know a lot about Skype having only used it twice in the last 5 years but was pretty sure I couldn't access her emails/messages/account from it. I think he's making out she'd be on his account or his girlfriend's and of course there is no option to set up her own obviously. Hmm

Thank you!
