WordPress posts in code!!

Please help me! I'm trying to update my much neglected blog but I think h has messed with it. I tried putting in a picture but it just put in a load of gibberish which I'm guessing is some kind of internetish language. I can't fix it. Please help me I've tried googling but I can't find anything helpful. Ta :)

Can you give a sample of the gibberish please. That will help to show what the problem is.

Thanks for replying. Ive actually managed to fix it. Visual was turned off or some such. :)
