Namechange / password issues

I want to change my username as I have had it for quite a while. But I can't remember my password so can't change my name. I will have to send a reminder to my email address for my password, but I share my email with my DH and don't want him to see any of this information as he may get nosy and come on Mumsnet, then knowing who I am and look up my old posts!

What is the best way of doing this? And when I send a reminder email to myself, what information does this email contain?

Click on My Mumsnet (top RHS) then My Account. You will see the name there.

Get your own email address for goodness sake, they are not on ration.

GMAIL....yahoo....all sorts to choose from

then you can register a new name...job done.
