Keyboard for an ipad?

What I really need is a laptop or a child free house, but failing either of those, I want to be able to type documents sitting in a cafe on my ipad. I am totally bamboozled by the variety of keyboards. Does anyone have any advice, please?

We have an apple brand wireless (bluetooth) keyboard but almost never use it as we just use the on screen keyboard. I would use it if I was typing a long document though.
I think you can get very slimline and lightweight ones which might be good if you are carrying it about.
I'd go on to amazon and read some of the reviews there.

I have this Takes about 2 minutes to set up and bob's your uncle.

Thanks. I think the most important thing is that I can touch type easily on a decent keyboard - more than portability, I think.
There's a £20 one on Amazon - what is this missing that the £60 keyboards have?

I have the non apple cheapie from amazon about £12. Works well, set up in 2 mins. I guess dependent on needs, mine is for occasional use for typing, so happy with cheap one.

We have these Logitech ones for the iPads and iPad mini. They're easy to use (instant connection), work as a stand and are a good cover for the iPad too. Pricey but worth it.

Magix I've got Pages, but haven't used it all that much yet - I usually use the desktop at home, but that is now buried in the spare room in a noisy house. I'll only being writing articles and blog posts so I only need the most basic for typing and editing.
