New iPad air?

I have bad "wantys" as the kids would say.

My iPad 1 is fast becoming, due to old OS etc, a crashy slow device fit only for email and using as a tv..

What do you think? And 3G (is it 4g or not??) or wifi...

as an upgrade from an ipad 1 i would go for it. It has LTE so its 4g ready, but that would mean getting a network able one which costs loads more, so if your only using it at home or where you have a wifi its not worth it.

the ipad mini has the same spec barr a higher dots per inch screen. i would head to an apple store and get a feel for both.

Ooh I have not heard about this. Is this the new iPad (5th generation?).

I too have an iPad 1. It is reaching the end of its useful life. DS has a 3 and DD the 4th gen. They are so much lighter and faster, plus of course I've never had a camera on mine. Am going to have a look at them.
