How to turn off auto correct in the MN message box?

Does anyone else have this? I posted in site stuff but it doesn't appear to be an MN generated 'thing' iyswim

so where is it coming from, is it a general win 7 issue? I hate it - I'm generally quite a good speller and it's correcting things to the wrong word, so I'm having to go back and correct all the bloody corrections!

I am going slowly insane. Please help if you know how to nix it.

It is browser dependent as far as I know. So how to disable it will depend on the browser being used, such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari. Disabling it will disable for all sites I suspect.
