Looking for a cheap(ish) wireless printer. Any recommendations? Also relatively cheap ink costs too, anyone?

Not a kodak esp 5200. All that advertising about cheap printing- i don't get anything near the number of pages the cartridge says I should, and the paper jams regularly.

I have an epson stylus sx235w was peanuts in tesco last year and I get ink off amazon that isn't real epson ink but does the job and it's cheap enough too.

not wireless but have a cheapo epson too.. the older models take generic ink and that makes a big difference in price. Got the ink for a pound a cartidge off ebay.
Mine's an epson stylos color 880.

Ooh, I'm after a new printer too. Preferably one that works with iPad too. Freddiemisagreatshag - was it easy to set up the wireless on that epson printer? I've just been looking at reviews and a few complaints about it being tricky to figure out.

Thanks Freddie - I'm particularly liking the price of the ink, compared with what we paid last time. Smile

I buy el cheapo ink and it's grand. I usually buy a multi-pack, and then get some extra blacks - if you put ink sx235w into amazon there's loads.

Bought Epson SX405 about 3 years ago, even professional had problem with wireless installation, and still unable to enlarge/reduce print sizes, but it's reliable and good with generic inks.

yes it was a doddle actually. Is now sitting very neatly under my TV and DVD player ready to go!
So glad as have been getting by for ages without a printer and can now print out vouchers for days out and my dd can use it for her homework, can also print stuff to help youngest DS learn his phonics. Very pleased, thanks for the recommendation
